Potential Ph.D. Thesis Mentors
Potential M.S. Laboratory Mentors

Twenty-four faculty, representing a number of research areas, have primary appointments in the Department of  Pharmacology.  All of these faculty participate in graduate student training, and 14 are eligible as Ph.D. Thesis Mentors.  In addition, five faculty with primary appointments in other departments are eligible as Ph.D. Thesis Mentors.  Click here to see a complete listing of potential Ph.D. thesis mentors.

The major strengths of the department are Neuropharmacology and Cardiovascular Pharmacology.  In their research, faculty at Georgetown use physiological, biochemical, and molecular approaches to pharmacology, which is conducted in cultured cells, isolated organs, intact animals, and man.

Please note: Clicking on faculty member names will lead you to a new window with their home page.
