The Lab investigates the neural substrates of audition in humans and primates. Research follows three general themes within auditory neuroscience: spatial and object processing; music and speech perception; and, crossmodal plasticity and reorganization in tinnitus. Experimental techniques emphasized are in situ electrophysiology and functional magnetic resonance imaging.
