Assessing Florida’s Medicaid ReformJoan Alker, M.Phil., Co-Principal Investigator This project, conducted by researchers at Georgetown University’s Health Policy Institute and funded primarily by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, entails a two-year evaluation of Florida's Medicaid reform waiver. The evaluation includes a “before” and “after” assessment of key questions related to how the changes affect Medicaid beneficiaries’ ability to access needed care as well as the impact on health providers.
