You may request your refund on-line through StudentAccess+. You must be authorized to log on to StudentAccess+. You wil need your Georgetown NetID and NetID password. If you do not know your NetID or NetID password, you will need to contact the UIS Help Desk, located on the ground floor of St. Mary's at 202 687 4949. Parents, find out more about accessing your childs account on-line and the Privacy Act.
Although we strongly encourage you to request your refund on-line, you may also request your refund by email, fax, or in person. The information required of you will be: Name, Address, GOCard number (or SSN), and signature. You will also be asked to determine the amount you want refunded and the method of delivery.
You may have the check mailed, pick it up in person at Check Distribution in the Car Barn, or have the funds electronically sent to your account. (You must fill out a form to have funds electronically sent to you - for more information on this option click on the link above.) If you do not designate an amount to be refunded to you, your entire credit balance will be the default. If you do not indicate a method of delivery, you will be contacted by the office of Student Accounts. For on-line requests, you may change your address at any time on StudentAccess+. Be sure to change your address BEFORE you request your refund. You will recieve an email detailing the status of your refund once your request is processed.
