The Office of Student Accounts strongly recommends that if you are paying by personal check, that you do so online. We do not accept personal checks delivered in person to our office: Persons bearing personal checks will be instructed to enter their payment information online at one of our computer terminals.
Payment by paper check should be mailed to:

Georgetown does not accept foreign checks. Please look into opening a US bank account or payment by wire if this affects you.
Do not send FedEx, UPS, or any other priority mail to this address. Also, please do not send payments from a 529 plan, outside scholarship provider, or third party entity to this address. Please send this mail and any correspondence to the contact address listed on the upper left.
We advise against the use of any priority mailing service through the US Postal Service.
It is critical that the student's GOCard number is written on the check to ensure timely and accurate posting of the payment to the student account. DO NOT identify the student using his or her SSN. Payments are posted within two business days of being received. If payment is not received by the due date, service charges are applied. |
