Through the Student Account Services site a student can set up a refund profile. By creating a refund profile, a requested refund will be be directly deposited into his or her bank account. The Student Account Services site is available to students through MyAccess.
Refund profiles must be established for the Fall 2009 on the Student Account Service site, even if a direct deposit information was previously established with the Office of Student Accounts.
Authorized users DO NOT have access to refund profiles. Refund profiles may only be established by students.
A refund profile must be created by the student prior to submitting a refund request on MyAccess.
The University no longer offers the option to pick up a refund check. In the absence of a refund profile, when a refund is requested, a traditional check will be mailed to the student’s local address, or if the student has no local address, to his or her permanent address.
Title IV refunds caused by grants or scholarships will automatically be processed and issued, but in order to receive a refund in the most timely manner the Office of Student Accounts suggests requesting a refund as soon as you know you have a credit balance on your account.
