Payment for School of Continuing Studies courses and certificate programs is due either at the time of registration or before the first class. Certain certificate programs are eligible to enroll in a payment plan; please contact the SCS for more information. Third party contracts may be submitted as payment, but the Office of Student Accounts reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any third party contract. Payment plan and third-party contracts must be sent to the OSA before the first day of class.
Bills will be available online to all students with an outstanding balance on their accounts between the time of registration and the end of the course or certificate.
Accounts are subject to service charges on outstanding balances beginning the first day of the course or certificate program.
A service charge of 1.75% of the outstanding balance is applied monthly to any balance not covered by a payment plan or third-party contract.
Any accounts with an outstanding balance at the end of the course or certificate program will be turned over to a collection agency. An additional 33% of the outstanding balance will be applied to the account to cover collection agency fees, and the student will be reported to the credit bureaus.
