| Wire payments are accepted but not recommended. Georgetown University often recieves incomplete information when a wire is sent because banks do not accurately relay some critical pieces of information needed by our office. The results are delays and inaccuracies in the posting of these payments to student accounts.
If you pay by wire:
- Ensure that your name and GOCard number are included in the instructions sent to your bank
- Fax a copy of your wire confirmation to our office
- Monitor your student bill on StudentAccess+ to ensure the wire was posted to your account properly. If you do not see it posted within 10 days, please call our office.
Complete instructions for wire payments can no longer be posted on our website because of concern about fraud. If you would like to make a wire payment, please call our office at 202 687 7100 for complete instructions. |
