1195. Building Alterations (<$50,000) - Hospital & Med Center
  All facility alteration requests are to be directed through the Medical Center Facilities Project Coordinator. The Medical Center Facilities Project Coordinator will coordinate Medical Center building alteration requirements with the Division of Facilities, Resource Management Office and Hospital alterations through the Hospital Facilities Sevices Office. These projects require limited or no design to accomplish. If the project entails addition or revision to lighting, electrical or HVAC, a building permit is required. Typically the site is surveyed, a scope of work is developed and competitive bids are sought from qualified, bonded and insured firms. Work is performed by a written contract complying with all University standard terms, conditions, and risk and liability limitations. Building records, consisting of studies, surveys, specifications, as-built drawings and systems operations and maintenance manuals, must be obtained and provided to the Archives Section of Planning and Project Management.
