Division of Facilities Contracts Department supports both the Planning and Project Management Department and the Facilities Resource Management Office with contract services consistent with project requirements. The Contracts Department prepares bid lists, Requests for Proposals (RFP), reviews and analyzes bids, determines the low, responsive bid and makes recommendation for award with consideration of the technical review. Upon approval of award, the Contracts Department prepares the contract based on the project scope, schedule, bid price and the University standard terms conditions. The Contracts Department ensures compliance with general liability and workman's compensation requirements and that risk and limitation of liability are minimized.
