1054 Group Procurement
Georgetown University or any entity identified herein or incorporated into a resulting cooperative procurement, may participate in, sponsor, conduct or administer a cooperative procurement agreement with one or more other institutions, for the purpose of combining requirements to increase efficiency or reduce administrative expenses. Nothing herein shall prohibit the assessment or payment by direct or indirect means of any administrative fee that will allow for participation in any such arrangement. Agreements initiated under the auspices of this clause shall be the sole responsibility of the using institution (administration, financial, enforcement, etc.). The initiating University shall be notified by the using entity of the intent to utilize such an agreement and of any resulting issues.
Each institution must sign off on the cooperative procurement agreement. The agreement must address the conditions if an institution withdraws from the agreement.
