Students have access to the
following NMR resouces:
- The group has a
dedicated home-assembled 400 MHz wide-bore solid-state NMR
spectrometer. It currently has a Tecmag Libra console and is equipped
with home-made static (electrochemical) probes, a
state-of-the-art Doty MAS triple-resonance probe, and an Oxford
SpectrostatCF for variable-temperature experiments between 4 to
420 K.
- Departmental
Bruker AM/Tecmag DSPect three-channel 300 MHz wide-bore
liquid/solid-state NMR spectrometer. It is equipped to do MAS
experiments.
- Departmental
Varian Unity 500 MHz standard-bore three-channel 500 MHz liquid-state
NMR spectrometer. It is equipped with an Inversion-Detection probe, a
SW probe, and a triple-resonance probe.
- Departmental
Varian Mercury 300 MHz liquid-state NMR spectromter for routine 1H and
13C experiments.
