Planned, implemented, and managed all aspects of conferences for clients of this career counseling agency. Managed the budget. Conferences were usually held at Baltimore Convention Center. Jean compiled a seventy-two page Resource Book (1993,1994) listing agencies and services available to AFDC parents (Aid to Families with Dependent Children).
 
 
The Jean Peters Pilch Memorial Fund in excess of $10,000 was established at Maryland New Directions Inc.,  by major gifts from her mother, Mrs. Sammie Peters Long, Fort Smith, AR., and her husband, Dr. John J. Pilch, Catonsville, MD. Added to this have been many generous contributions from relatives and friends. Interest from the fund  provides scholarships for clients at Maryland New Directions. Additional contributions may be sent to MND at its present address:
