This portfolio provides a representative sample of my teaching. Included is a teaching philosophy, four sample syllabi from a range of course types and levels, and two sample project descriptions. Additional materials included are two proposed syllabi, an advance undergraduate course in rhetoric and a graduate special topics seminar, and student feedback. These materials represent a range of courses taught and a variety of students served. They evince a core set of rhetorically-informed pedagogical principles: the need for student engagement, the generative kairos of high standards, and a strong endorsement of rhetoric as vital to public and private life.
