To Join UsGraduate Students . . . Ph.D. students in our lab work under Darlene Howard's mentorship and may apply to either of two programs, the Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience (IPN) or the Developmental Science program in the Department of Psychology, which has a concentration in Lifespan Cognitive Neuroscience. Both programs provide financial support and strong interdisciplinary training. We are eager to have motivated, talented students who have broad interests in cognitive aging and the cognitive neuroscience of aging. If you are interested in joining our lab, or need advice as to which of the above programs might best suit you, please email Darlene Howard. Undergraduate Students . . . Undergraduate students are an integral part of our lab. Some work on senior theses in Cognitive Science or Psychology's Honors Program, some in the context of individual research tutorials for credit in Psychology or in Cognitive Science, some as part of the GUROP program, and others as paid assistants on our funded research. In all cases they work closely with graduate students in the lab and attend our weekly research meetings and journal club. If you are interested in joining our lab, please email Darlene Howard. |
