I was born in Haifa, the city I still call home to this day. Snuggled between mountain and sea, it is where I met the most important people in my life.

Academics brought me to Tel Aviv. I graduated from the Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students, completed a double major BSc in computer science and linguistics and an MA in linguistics. I was ready to face the world!, the real world of bugs, executables, and corporate luncheons.

After more than two exciting years of research and development on the Natural Language Processing team at ClearForest Corp, I learned that what the world really needs is more linguists.

In 2005 I entered the PhD program in linguistics at UMass Amherst and had the pleasure of living a few years in a valley full o' pioneers, Harley Davidsons, ice-cream parlors, and locally grown everything. Now it's time to put that idea about the world needing more linguists to the test, and so far Washington, D.C. has been the perfect place to do so.
